My name is Justin “Mackey” Torres, a communications and marketing professional from Houston, Texas. I got my start in print journalism, telling news, feature and sports stories as early as high school. That love of storytelling jumpstarted my career, graduating with a degree in print journalism from the University of Houston in 2013. I then spent my early years telling stories from Beeville, Texas before moving back home to Houston and transitioning to marketing, delivering communications in the marketing space, ranging from the health and wellness industry to sports, manufacturing and transportation to education. I combine my journalism roots with strategic marketing and communications to tell stories that inform, engage and inspire.
